My room included great views and a cozy bath. The breakfast was AMAZING!!! Evening Meals were also excellent. I would stay again next time I am in The Lakes.

cooked breakfast
i found the staff friendly. the breakfast included both continental options and cooked-to-order meals. a lift inside the hotel will be appreciated by guests with mobility issues. i had five course dinner. it was served in the restaurant.
the service on the first night felt indifferent. we waited a long time for the starters. the place was understaffed. i may be wrong on this point.

a good and nice stay

fine landscapewarm feelcomfortable bedmissing touch
the landscape surrounding the hotel was fine. i felt surrounded by beauty everywhere i looked. the hotel has a warm, cosy and country feel (i really liked that). our room was a good size with gorgeous views. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
i wish the staff had been a bit more proactive in recognizing returning guests. i felt a personal touch was missing . it would enhance the guest experience.

I found the staff not very cute. They seemed only to tick the basic box of professionalism. The food provided was just fine, but it was not really good. I thought it was very basic for the price asked.

The staff was helpful and the meals were great. I am a coeliac. An excellent choice of menu was always available. It is lovely. The bus stop is right outside, so you can just leave your car behind.
