Really good Hospitality and Fine Dining

easy accesstasting menufood qualitywell trained staff
The location provided easy access to local walks near the town. The restaurant featured both a tasting menu and an à la carte option, a detail that was much welcome (I liked that flexibility). The food quality matched that of many Michelin-starred restaurants. The staff members each had personality and knowledge of the food and wine menu.
During my visit, the snacks provided in the room upon arrival were not replenished throughout my multiple-night stay.
Location

The hotel is on the edge of the town, providing convenient access. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the town center. This placement offers a balance between accessibility and a quieter environment.

A large car park is a short walk from the main reception. There is a designated dog shower area. Guests can borrow boots from the boot room if needed. I found the facilities well-kept.
Service
10/10
The staff demonstrated a balance between friendliness and formality. The team remembered personal preferences and were attentive. Tom at reception was particularly helpful.
Rooms
9/10
The room décor and furnishings were of excellent quality. The bathroom had a bath that filled quickly. a free-standing shower (rainfall and hand-held) with good water pressure. The bed was very big, possibly super king-size. Beautiful toiletries were provided.

Really good Stay

large car parkexcellent watersnack restock
The hotel features a large car park, just a short walk from reception. I found dropping off bags at the entrance convenient. My room included double doors opening onto the balcony with a garden view. The bathroom offered a fast-filling bath and a large shower with great water pressure.
I noticed upon arrival that the snacks were not replenished during my three-night stay. The room provided coffee pods, a bag of nuts, and crisps initially. A restock would have enhanced the experience.
Service

Restaurant staff exhibited helpfulness and knowledge regarding the food being served. Isaac, Nadine, and Joe, being friendly and professional. I am grateful for their attentiveness and dedication.

unrefilled snackssnack variety
i stayed for several nights. it was disappointing to see our room's complimentary snacks were not replenished during the whole stay. there was also a lack of variety. having the same nuts and crisps every day became monotonous! it felt cheap. this detail significantly detracted from the overall experience, as other hotels usually ensure these small touches are maintained, to keep the guests happy.
