beautiful exterior short walks breakfast options
the building has a beautiful exterior. i liked the gardens, i saw people take short walks there. the breakfast had many options to choose from, so i found something i liked.

really good stay near the lake
beautiful grounds spacious room original features great location
the location is great with beautiful grounds. the hotel sits a little outside of the centre but a short drive gets you there. the room provided good facilities and felt spacious. i found the building retains many lovely original features.
i thought the decor was ageing slightly. it still fitted the vibe of the place though.

the team member who checked me in explained everything (directions to the restaurant). she showed me the room and where the bar was located. the bar staff was friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.

small room parking area
the breakfast was acceptable (i liked the variety).
i stayed for two nights and was disappointed with the room. it was quite small and overlooked the parking area instead of having a nice view. also, i could hear a lot of noise from the kitchen staff, including doors banging and general chatter.
