superb stay near the motorway

i found the staff helpful and friendly. the room was clean with a nice bathroom. breakfast was excellent i enjoyed good service. the car park was large and convenient and i found easy access to the lakes and the yorkshire dales. i felt very welcome from the beginning.

there was no chef available for an evening meal so i couldn't dine at the hotel.

the hotel is in a great location for trips to the lake district and yorkshire dales i found it easy to explore nearby attractions. despite its proximity to main roads the hotel maintained a quiet atmosphere i appreciated. the large car park was also very convenient.

the staff were very friendly and helpful i felt welcome and well-cared for. from the receptionist to the restaurant staff everyone was attentive. i noted they worked hard to ensure my stay was pleasant i must commend them.

the provided parking spaces were plentiful. finding a spot wasn't the usual vacation headache.

I booked a beautiful king room with a sitting area, but the sitting area was basically a chair in the corner. False advertising, i say. also, the towel warmer didn't seem to work. My towels remained stubbornly cool and damp.

The lack of air conditioning made for a really uncomfortable night in the room because it was boiling hot. I could not open the window much.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! I especially enjoyed the breakfast. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bar area was also great.

The pillows were too big for my liking. The lack of air conditioning in the room made it a bit too warm. I found only one available electrical socket in the room. It was far from the bed.

I appreciated the convenient location and the great value. The staff were awesome. The pub grub met expectations. The room offered ample storage and space to move around comfortably. Also good coffee and biscuits were available.

The pillows were too large for me, a selection of different sizes would have been better.

The staff provided a warm welcome and offered helpful service throughout my stay. They were very friendly. The service in both the hotel and the pub and bar was great. I found them always attentive.
