Fantastic Stay!!!
thoughtfully designed hotel rooftop area effective blackout drapes convenient location
This hotel is thoughtfully designed, with surprises around every corner. I especially liked the library lounge, rooftop area, and the Banksy artwork. The King room offered a comfy bed and effective blackout drapes ensuring a good night's sleep. The location is convenient, close to multiple tube lines and major train lines. I found shopping for snacks and morning coffee quite easy.
The system was down when I checked out. I received the invoice after I returned home.

The fitness center was well-equipped. It offered guests a good range of options. The hotel provides a library area with drinks and snacks, a bar, and a rooftop bar, ensuring diverse leisure opportunities. Its shiny red livery is definitely far from standard in this area.

The room was spacious, presenting a joyful mash-up of Bauhaus and colourful 70s chic. It featured comfortable beds and pillows, promoting a restful sleep. The room also offered a great view, especially of the Shard.

I found the dining options distinctive, offering a fun experience. The nachos were AMAZING!!! I also discovered a very nice bourbon thanks to a staff recommendation. Breakfast service was superb and friendly. The food was also good.

The hotel is literally a short walk from Kings Cross, a great central location. Its situation is super convenient for Eurostar travel or access to airport connections. Proximity to shops allows for easy access to snacks and supplies.

soft pillows discretionary charge
the reception staff was helpful when i arrived i was able to get into my room early
i was disappointed my room was not spacious opening the wardrobe was a squeeze i also found the pillows ridiculously soft i couldn't sleep well the hotel added a discretionary charge to my bill without informing me

poor soundproofing high minibar prices
I gotta say, the room wasn't exactly hitting the mark. The soundproofing needs a serious upgrade, I swear I heard more of the city noise than I wanted too. And don't get me started on the minibar prices. They were highway robbery, I almost choked on my water when I saw the bill. It reminded me of the hotel was trying to squeeze every last penny out of me.

convenient location amazing staff easy checking delicious food
I found the location very convenient near the station. the front desk staff was amazing. the ease of checking in was a plus. decima offered delicious food. I enjoyed my meal there a lot.
my deposit took two days to be returned after i checked out.

The hotel is across the street from st pancras and king's cross stations. there are several shops and eateries nearby. access to trains was great. It made getting around simple.

mixed stay, some issues encountered
poor soundproofing disjointed process
The room lacked soundproofing. It was very noisy. i booked directly and requested an early check-in. It was not acknowledged. the hotel staff seemed underprepared, the whole process was a bit disjointed.

nearby restaurants thick curtains long check-in limited equipments
I am thankful the staff was friendly. They helped me find good restaurants nearby. My room was quiet and dark at night. It had thick curtains, so I could sleep well.
The check-in took a long time. I waited over 30 minutes for my turn. The gym only had one treadmill. I hope they get more equipments soon.
