i booked on short notice and the staff were hospitable. they upgraded my room with nice sea views. the view from my room was amazing. the rooms have good water heat, good water quantity, and a jacuzzi.
they are also claustrophobic and rickety.

I was upgraded to a sea view room. This room had a balcony and a harbour view. The view overlooked across to Valletta. I found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful and they spoke English well.
The laminate floor looked like it was on its last legs. It was beginning to delaminate around the edges. The furniture consisted of the cheapest available items. I found the bed not very comfortable as well.

Staff stored our luggage. I was able to check in early. The beds seemed comfortable.
The shower head was too low. A six-foot man like me had to crouch to get my head under it. I think they should fix this.
