My room was not what i expected. i paid for a double room and instead got a single. it faced the main road and was on the first floor. the bathroom sink had a leak. I found that very annoying.

the room was ADEQUATE for my needs . It had tea and coffee making facilities, though I had to request refills at reception. Beds were CLEAN and reasonably comfortable and new carpet had recently been installed.
the bathroom looked tired and could use a refresh though. The decor looked drab AND uninspired.

Solid Stay Just Off the M6

The staff were very good making my early breakfast request a reality. I checked in swiftly, and the free parking added convenience. My room was quite spacious, and it was adequately clean. The hotel has very good access to the city via the 61 bus.
The bathroom could use some tlc.

The hotel wasn't what i expect. the cleanliness was questionable. I saw bits all over the floor. marks on the walls went undistinguishable and mold was everywhere in both the walls and showers. this.

the staff were very friendly and helpful (they even helped me find a good walking route). the location was easy to find, and i found the rooms to be basic but clean.
The stairs were covered in threadbare carpet. It looked a bit worn. the room had a slight smell, and i had to open the window when i arrived.
