Thistledo self-catering accommodation is available with three bedrooms, accommodating up to 6 people (4 adults and 2 children), a family bathroom, open plan living room, dining room and kitchen, downstairs toilet, utility room, and private garden. It features a Smart TV, DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker, hairdryer, iron, washer, microwave, dishwasher, and gas barbecue in summer. Weekly prices start from £1365.
Local Produce, Fine Wines
The Bistro Bar at Burts Hotel features dishes made from local ingredients. The lunch and supper menu includes Twice Baked Cheese Soufflé, Spiced Tiger Prawns, Highland Venison, and Rump of Border Lamb. A range of cask-conditioned real ales, including locally brewed beers, over 90 malt whiskies, and an extensive wine cellar are available. Wine tasting evenings, featuring dinner and speakers, can be experienced. Selected house wines include Chardonnay Jacques Bourguignon 2022, Cabernet Sauvignon Domaine de Saissac 2022, and Merlot Santa Helena 2023. Champagne Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut NV is also available. The Restaurant is open for dinner from 6 PM to 8:30 PM, with last orders at 8:25 PM (not open for lunchtime Monday - Saturday).
