The Lake District Castle Inn Hotel & Spa offers spacious rooms, with some featuring separate areas ideal for families, alongside comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. Guests particularly enjoy the on-site facilities including a gym, heated pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, while the breakfast offers a wide choice including cooked-to-order options like Eggs Royale and a continental selection. Though some found the location a bit isolated without personal transport, with Keswick a 15-minute drive away and a bus stop right outside, others appreciated the scenic views overlooking the gardens, tennis court, and putting green.

Satisfactory Stay

lovely foodgreat hot tubdated roommain road
The pool and hot tub were appreciated. I found them to be a great addition. The food was lovely. I enjoyed it.
The room overlooked beer barrels and the main road. This was disappointing, I thought. The fish and chips my partner ordered was not crunchy.

constant knockingoutdated bathroom
i found it hard to sleep due to a constant knocking sound all night. this really ruined my time there and left me tired the next day. i told reception about it in the morning. they did not seem too concerned, they just said they would log it. the bathroom looked very old. the facilities were unusually low. i had to bend over to use the sink.
