The restaurant offered a variety of breakfast choices and the interior design included William Morris fabrics. This added an extra touch. I was offered a free drink for opting out of room service . the location provided easy access to the lake. It enhanced my overall experience. the bed was very comfortable.

I had to pay extra for parking in a public lot because the hotel parking was limited and often full. That was a minor inconvenience.

the room was clean, i will say that much, and the breakfast buffet was acceptable.

the check-in process was a complete disaster (i'm still fuming about it). i arrived at 3 pm, the official check-in time, only to be told my room wasn't ready because of a late laundry delivery. i had to wait an hour and a half, and the staff seemed overwhelmed, and there was a general lack of organization. also, you couldn't eat outside, presumably because they were short-staffed.
