spacious roomcomfy bedquirky shower
i found the room very spacious. the comfy bed provided a restful sleep and the shower felt quite quirky. towels were changed daily which i thought was a nice touch, and the toiletries were also quite nice.
the fat badger got quite busy . it became a bit challenging to find a seat in the evening.

the staff were great. the parking was well lit and convenient. i requested a room in the annex, and i got it (this was what i asked for). breakfast was good.
the room was much smaller than my friend's, though we paid the same price. the top floor location meant a small window and it was too hot (it was unbearable). the mattress was soft, so it was uncomfortable.

The staff were kind at reception.
The room felt dated and in need of some attention. The furniture seemed cheap for the price. I found damaged curtains with stitching needing repair. the hairdryer was SOOOO inadequate. I almost got a burn from holding the button down.

The location of this hotel is good. It is a short walk to the town center.
My room smelled strongly of chemicals, much like a hospital room. I discovered itchy red bites all over my body the next day, later confirmed as bed bug bites from a full infestation. The staff lacked compassion when I expressed my distress.
