the staff showed a kindness i rarely find, always ready with a smile. the hotel is very close to everything. breakfast was a comforting start to each day, the food always felt fresh. the architecture itself reminded me of a gentle hug from the past, ornate and very cute.
the parking fee did feel a bit steep to pay extra.

Wonderful Stay

My room featured a comfortable king bed and a separate seating area. The bathroom had both a bathtub and shower, a great convenience. I found complimentary toiletries and fresh towels provided daily (a nice touch!). The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, I was able to stay connected.
The parking fee was a bit unexpected.

bland foodcongealed eggs
The service seemed off. Most staff, aside from the bar, were not great. dinner was a letdown. My chicken and leek pie lacked flavor. my sister's fish and chips were soggy. we waited ages for dessert, but no one took our order, so we left. breakfast had congealed eggs though.

the location was very convenient, close to shops and restaurants! the breakfast offered a good selection of hot and cold items. i found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times.
The room was quite warm, even with the fan running. I wish there was air conditioning, especially during warmer months. parking was limited, and the daily charge felt a bit steep, especially as a guest at the hotel.

the location was indeed convenient. it was a short walk to the main shopping area. the dining room seemed grand and it was a lovely space to eat in.
the room we had was above the main pot wash facility. this meant there was a constant hum of extract fans. it also included an experimental jazz track of clanking pots and pans.
