a romantic getaway

central locationclean roomearly check-insafe environment
the location was superb. it was near the shops and restaurants. the light show at the minster amazed me!!! i walked till late and felt safe with my children. the room was clean and fresh. it had everything we needed in the bathroom. i appreciated early check-in, so we could explore without carrying our bags.
the pillows were too soft for my liking. i wanted a little more support after a long day.
Dining

decent location, some drawbacks

central locationparking spotstuffy roomlimited window
My family stayed for four nights. the hotel is very central. i booked a parking spot. It was available from midday to midday. this allowed us to explore the area before check-in and after check-out.
I found the room quite stuffy. the window only opened a small amount. there was also no bar fridge in the room. This was a little disappointing. the food lacked imagination. the vegetables were always the same, regardless of the meal i ordered.

just okay, not amazing

good locationstreet noiseno air conditioning
The location was good because it was close to the city center.
I WAS disappointed. The room felt stuffy because there was no air conditioning. The small window did not open wide enough to let in air. The noise from the street made it hard to sleep.

the location was very central. it made it easy to walk to many different places. the buffet breakfast included many choices. i found it to be good value for money.
My room faced away from the river. It felt a little stuffy. i was given a fan, but the window only opened a small amount. the bottom sheet barely covered the mattress.
