The location allowed easy access to nearby areas. The room was spacious and clean. The shower had good pressure, which i appreciate..
I found a plug hanging off the wall in the room. This was not safe. The layout of the bar and restaurant felt quite bizarre to me. The bar seemed mostly closed.

i really loved the pool facilities. the breakfast was great with good choices, also the grounds are really worth a visit. we really enjoyed the steak and ale pie, the portion was very generous and the taste. very nice! the staff are really friendly!
card payments only at the bar. i am really not agreeing with that. hopefully, they will change this in the near future.

the restaurant menu has excellent choices. the food was definitely delicious and plentiful. breakfast offers an excellent array of choices and a spacious setting. it gives nice views of the grounds.

the rooms are good sized. the decor is lovely and maintained. i requested a quiet room and that request was fulfilled. rooms included all the usual things, like tea, coffee, and toiletries.

the hotel has good parking! i found nice walks from the hotel around the golf course. the walks were hilly. but the uphill climb gives rewarding views!

the walks around the grounds were gorgeous. breakfast was good with excellent gluten-free options including a dedicated toaster. the swimming pool was a good size, nice for actual swimming, which i found excellent.
