i found plenty of pools available, including a swim-up bar. the kids club pool and indoor soft play area were beneficial during the hottest parts of the day (my little one loved it).
the gym is well-equipped, but i encountered late room cleaning on most days. the room was often cleaned after 5pm, inconvenient when trying to have children's naps.

i found the staff very friendly and helpful. the resort is child friendly but also feels exclusive (that is, not tacky).
the hotel could use some refurbishment to match other five-star hotels. the furniture seemed old and perhaps had not been updated in many years.

the facilities were good.
the service did not meet expectations i often had to request amenities not replenished by default. for three days, i lacked shower gel i found this very inconvenient. the staff seemed disengaged and often on their phones.
The staff was very nice. Frederick at the swim-up bar kept the poolside experience great. The fruit man brought special offerings by the main pool. The team at La Turca always provided fast service with smiles.
The shop in the hotel does stock next to nothing, and the nearest small supermarket is about twenty minutes walking.
