EXCELLENT location, great stay

The hotel's location IS superb. It is near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, so I walked to the 45th-floor observation deck. The deck allowed a fantastic view OF the city. I found the staff warm and helpful. The restaurant offered a great variety.

The hotel lacked a convenience store, requiring a trip outside for forgotten items or snacks.

The hotel boasts proximity to the subway entrance, facilitating easy travel throughout the city. Shinjuku Station IS also within a reasonable distance, about a 10-minute walk, should you require access to multiple rail lines. You can access the Shinkansen with an easy transfer.

The room WAS large and well-decorated, offering good views OF the city. The bathroom fixtures were modern, and the space felt clean. Plenty OF natural light entered the room through large windows.

The staff was professional and helpful throughout my stay. housekeeping was consistent and attentive. i appreciated the quiet atmosphere. It made it easy to relax after long days out.

I don't get any upgrade at check in. the hotel has two type of rooms. The old ones and the new renovated ones. i even get the old one, not a new one, so definitely the hotel did not do anything to recognize my status. the hotel is much worse versus the hyatt i have ever stayed at.
