The Cairn Hotel Newcastle Jesmond, part of the Cairn Collection, is in Jesmond near Acorn Road's clothing boutiques and cafes. The hotel has undergone a full refurbishment into a contemporary hotel. Some rooms are located in a neighboring hotel (formerly the Carlton Hotel), a 1-minute walk from the main building and connected to Spy Bar. Rooms in the neighboring building may experience noise. Standard room amenities include ironing facilities, heating, garden furniture, free toiletries, an electric kettle, an AM/FM alarm clock, a flat-screen TV, carpeted or parquet flooring. Some rooms feature a double bed, a flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge. Small double rooms provide a dual-function rainfall shower, free Wi-Fi, and black-out curtains. Cots are not available for these rooms. Spacious rooms have individual décor, fine furnishings, a large double bed, a flat-screen TV, a walk-in shower, and a mini-fridge.
