Lovely Stay in Spacious Room

Emily gave a warm welcome upon arrival and showed me to my room. I had a superior double room, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. I noticed extra touches like a digital fan and Bothams biscuits.

I wish that there was more than one of each body lotion shower gel and shampoo when I arrived to ensure there was enough for my stay.

The castle grounds are very well kept with quirky interior designs adding to the unique atmosphere. I appreciated the free parking available , especially when planning trips to the town center.

The staff in the bar and bistro were friendly and provided good food and drinks. I found the breakfast service to be excellent with a wide variety of options and attentive staff available.

Underwhelming Food and Accessibility Issues

The hotel had lovely, helpful, and friendly staff.

Accessibility was a significant problem with many stairs. I have a knee injury making it hard to get to my room. There wasn't any other means to access the upper floors. The restaurant was also a letdown because the dinner was not good.
