The grounds are beautiful with amazing sculptures on view! the staff were fantastic. Our room was lovely. it's obvious that attention to detail has been paid, i appreciated the free parking all day, a wonderful bonus.

I expected to arrange for an evening meal upon arrival. This was not an option though? i had to find a local shop for sandwiches. The shower needs a shelf for toiletries.

The room was quiet and comfortable. It included lovely decor. It also had a generous size with a very comfy bed that supported my back well. a large bathroom with shower completed the space.

The restaurant provides a good selection of dishes. The portions are plentiful so come hungry, which i did. The freshly cooked breakfast is available from an extensive menu, offering various options to start the day.

The building itself was quite excellent. It really made an impact upon arrival.

I found the lack of attention to detail frustrating. The absence of a simple shelf in the shower to place toiletries seemed like an oversight. It was inconvenient to keep bending down. Such a small thing really affected my stay.

The epic castle charmed us on arrival, lit beautifully against the evening sky. The friendly staff provided an really good welcome. The room was clean. I found the bed comfortable! Fluffy towels and robes were provided. a selection of teas and coffees. Breakfast offered high-quality local produce.

I thought the hotel could add shelves in the shower for toiletries. It seems a small oversight in an otherwise great space. there was no toilet roll holder next to the lavatory. It was a minor inconvenience.

Emily gave a warm welcome upon arrival and showed me to my room. I had a superior double room, it was spacious and spotlessly clean. I noticed extra touches like a digital fan and Bothams biscuits.

I wish that there was more than one of each body lotion shower gel and shampoo when I arrived to ensure there was enough for my stay.

The hotel had lovely, helpful, and friendly staff.

Accessibility was a significant problem with many stairs. I have a knee injury making it hard to get to my room. There wasn't any other means to access the upper floors. The restaurant was also a letdown because the dinner was not good.
