authentic flavors fantastic hospitality slow check-in needed upgrade

I really enjoyed the food at White Lotus. Manager Sao and her team, Pang, Jay, and Mah provided fantastic hospitality. Chef Mahabir and Chef Jay created the best Indian food I've ever tasted. Every dish had authentic flavors. It was perfect.

The hotel felt a bit tired. Some areas need an upgrade. Check-in was slow initially. Talia from guest relations was very helpful. Waiting three hours felt a long time.

The golf course was AWFUL. It claimed to be an 18-hole course, but IT was actually a 9-hole, par 3 course. They made us rent separate sets of clubs, but half the clubs were MISSING and they were all ladies' clubs (insert eye roll here).

the hotel had a large swimming pool for adults. there was also a safe children's pool. the public areas around the pool were kept reasonably clean! the staff everywhere were very friendly, and i appreciated that. the service i received was perfect! i have recommended this hotel to my friends and family members.

The check in process took long. Welcome drinks were provided. the sitting area while checking in is nice. The cushions are aged, faded, and tearing. the hotel didn't offer to call or text if the room was ready earlier! i am not sure why the hotel sticks to the exact check in time.
