The location was central, a plus for getting around. The staff took my bags to my room, which i suppose is their job.
I found the floorboards squeaky, not ideal when trying to move around without disturbing others. the plumbing made some noises whenever anyone used a shower, quite distracting actually. i really expected a quieter stay for what i paid

Really good Stay on the Royal Mile

The room was very spacious with all needed facilities. It. The hotel is in the center of the royal mile, a fantastic location near waverley station. I used their app to chat with the staff .
The walk from the train station was very hilly. There were many steps, so it was a tough trek with heavy bags.

The restaurant is reasonably priced and offers great options for both breakfast and dinner. I had breakfast there and enjoyed the variety (especially the cooked breakfast). The service was prompt and efficient.

the room had everything one would need in the kitchen. fresh milk was provided in the fridge. coffee pods and a selection of teas were available.
i found it virtually impossible to find the lights for the toilet and shower.

the city view from my one-bedroom loft double suite sofa bed city view was mostly of a brick wall, really. plus, the noise at night from the street was not so great, i could hear lots of stuff going on till late.
