the check-in process had great attention to detail. the staff greeted me warmly and explained the room features. the restaurant provided delicious food with excellent wine and perfect service. a classy bar offered an amazing selection of single malt whisky and private seating.

The air conditioning only worked on full fan mode. Kitchen smells entered my room.

breakfast shamblesmushroom mistake

the breakfast service really let things down though. i had booked for 9am and there were no tables ready. all tables were full of previous diners plates. there was also no welcome like other guests received from 9:15 onwards, it seemed disorganized. the self service areas had nothing left, but they did replenish it eventually and when the classic breakfast arrived, it still had mushrooms even though i requested none.
