i was offered an upgrade to a larger room. it was very comfy and tidy. the location was great and quiet. free parking was available during the weekend, right outside the hotel. i received a warm welcome upon arrival.

i could clearly hear people talking outside the door. doors closing was also quite audible.

i stayed in a family room and it was massive. the huge windows had light blocking wood shutters which i loved. street parking was sometimes tricky but i found a spot right in front. the park across the road was lovely i watched dogs play there

the carpet on the stairs was threadbare i found it a slight trip hazard

The location is near a very nice park. Bus and tram stops are also close, and they take you to and from the city center. The staff was kind and discreet too. They provided solutions when we needed help finding places. I also booked an amazing bus trip for the highlands thanks to them.

The hotel's entrance had a noticeable smell of Indian food, it penetrated the carpets on the stairs and spread.

The room was spotlessly clean. I am a professional cleaner, so i noticed this. the staff were very friendly and helpful too. the hotel provides very good value, i thought.

The carpets seemed very worn. the towels felt threadbare. the bed was noisy. That was a problem.
