amazing stay at this gem!
quiet parkbeautiful groundslovely welcomefantastic spa treatment
The welcome by rob was so lovely. He gave us a tour and told us all about the history! lunch was followed by a fantastic spa treatment by fatima (i felt amazing). a driver even took us to the spa and restaurant so we didn't have to walk (wow!). i especially loved the quiet park location and beautiful grounds.
some dinner service members need extra training (we asked three times for water!).

the hotel sits within expansive grounds and this gives it a very peaceful feel. the ornate venue feels like going back to the days of proper service. i recommend taking a walk around.

i enjoyed afternoon tea (it was amazing!). refillable teas and coffees were a nice touch. breakfast included increased coffee choices such as latte (a bonus!). i really enjoyed the scones especially.

the spa had lovely staff and the golf course was like a resort (i felt relaxed). i had a 55 minute age-defying facial, and my therapist, grace, was very knowledgeable. the hotel boasts beautiful grounds that add to its grandeur.

faulty phoneunfriendly staff
My stay had issues. The room's phone wasn't working. I tried to call for assistance with luggage, but it took multiple attempts and a long wait for someone to answer. The woman at breakfast each morning SEEMED stern. She wasn't very friendly or quick to smile. THERE also wasn't enough staffing despite how many workers were on site.
