The hotel bills itself as offering 'comfort and eco-conscious luxury'. the reality is, it's just a mediocre hotel wearing a luxury costume. the reception staff weren't organized. They struggled to handle multiple guests at once and lacked basic politeness. the corridors smelled bad, and dirty towels stayed on the floors all day. i found a yellow stain on my bed sheet! also the minibar was empty, no water, no snack.

excellent museum district stay!

free drinkshelpful staffefficient servicepoor soundproofing
I appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks available throughout the day. It. the staff was consistently available and helpful! the after-stay service was also efficient.
the room lacked adequate soundproofing, and i could hear noise from conversations in the garden late into the night. this was disruptive and affected my sleep. it really detracted from the otherwise serene ambiance of the place.
Service

Location

the hotel benefits from its proximity to several major museums. rijksmuseum and van gogh museum were easily accessible with just a short walk. this proximity.
Dining
9/10
breakfast included warm bread, smoked salmon, fresh fruit and croissants. the availability of complimentary wine and cheese in the evening added value. i found the food options to be both plentiful and satisfying.
