Each room is 'dressed like models on the runway' by young fashion designers from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI). The rooms are diverse and reflect the surroundings of the hotel, the Damrak. Room allocation within the booked star category is a surprise upon arrival. Rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TVs, air conditioning, and private bathrooms with custom shower gel and shampoo. Rather than closets, rooms openly display hangers. Some 3-star rooms look out onto traditional Amsterdam houses, while most 4-star rooms have views of the Damrak and Beurs van Berlage. 5-star rooms, located on the upper floors, offer views of Amsterdam and most have a French balcony.
Dining at BAR STOCK
BAR STOCK, the coffee bar of Hotel The Exchange, elevates Amsterdam's coffee standard with carefully roasted beans from Friedhats, an Amsterdam-based micro-roaster. The menu includes locally made products, such as homemade cakes, sandwiches, hotdogs, and coffee-based cocktails. Local bakery Ulmus provides fresh sourdough pastry and bread made from Dutch grain. Milk for cappuccinos and lattes comes from a farm in Weesp. BAR STOCK also serves Japanese teas and other drinks. BAR STOCK sparkles bright on the Damrak street.

The Maison the Faux Room Collection features rooms like 'The Model,' where guests mix in with Humanwear models backstage at a FAUX show, and 'The Catwalk,' where guests sleep front row.
