Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Ibis Reading Centre enjoys a superb location in the town centre, very close to the train station and convenient for getting around. Guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, some of which offer a nice view from the upper floors. You'll find tea and coffee making facilities readily available. While most find it a good value, a few guests have noted occasional issues such as the TV not working or non-functional lifts, but generally, guests find a stay of one or two nights perfectly fine.

the front desk staff was very helpful (i really appreciated that).
The tv in my room didn't work, annoying after a long day. my colleague on another floor had the same issue, so it wasn't just my room. There were only two for so many floors and rooms.

the tv in my room did not work! my colleague had the same issue. they should not sell the room with a telly that doesn't work.

The hotel had a very clean room. Daily cleaning services made the room perfect. Breakfast offered a full English plus continental options. This was very satisfying.
The window could not open much. It was very hot in the room. The television did not have any signal.
