The room was clean and tidy, providing the basics for our short stay.
The room lacked air conditioning, a problem considering the price.. The shower setup felt dated, especially with the high bathtub sides. Ordering wine to the room took an hour. That is unacceptable.

The staff are very friendly and efficient. The spa facilities are top class. The rooms were presented well and are super clean. Breakfast and the evening meal were enjoyed by all. The food was AMAZING!!!

I appreciated the architecture. It's fine with lovely grounds. the breakfast was excellent. they accommodated my non-dairy needs with several options, and i also enjoyed club sandwiches for lunch one day. They were a treat.
i noticed the hotel needs some tlc. it retains beautiful character, however, it could benefit from a fresh coat of paint. i saw this particularly in the spa area.

I was charmed by the beautifully kept grounds. It really set a tone. the breakfast was great (especially the magnificent selections offered). the pool was a nice temperature. i found the staff friendly, and their team spirit was noticeable and appreciated.
the bar menu had limited choices.
