Fantastic Stay in the Countryside

I found the hotel to be very clean. Staff members were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was plentiful and offered many choices. I also enjoyed the walking trails around the hotel. There was a lot of greenery to explore. I will definitely return in the future.
The walk to the stables was a bit of a trek. It involved navigating several hallways and courtyards. a utilitarian fire door. This was not ideal late at night or in bad weather. I hope they can improve this access in the future.

the building was fine, and the room decor was beautiful.
My room was quite dusty, actually. the bed head was dusty. When i went to bed, particles flew around, irritating my skin! the checkout felt rushed, like a tesco till. The staff did not ask how my stay was or wish me a good day, which i found pretty frustrating.

Really good Stay

I appreciated the beautiful buildings. I particularly loved the option to walk along the provided path around the grounds. Breakfast included a wide choice of continental options alongside a very good cooked menu. The grounds had beautiful lighting at night, and the daytime revealed very well-kept landscaping.
I noticed a very slight problem with the restaurant lighting , specifically in the evening it seemed a little too bright , which impacted the ambiance.

Underwhelming Stay

slow serviceunclean bathroom
The bar service proved rather slow, even with few patrons. I waited an unreasonable amount of time for a simple panini, roughly 40 minutes. There were three staff members chatting away. Meanwhile, my table still had the previous guest's dirty napkin and knife. my bathroom cleanliness was lacking. I certainly expected better.
