tired wallpaper refund delay

The breakfast had a good choice of food and drink.

The room showed wear with tired wallpaper, a worn carpet, and blu-tack on the walls. I think at the price, bottled water should be included. The holding fee at check-in was different than stated, it caused confusion. A payment also got taken from my account after I checked out. It took a week to get a refund after I chased them, I didn't even get a formal apology.

The room had a lovely view of the lake. Staff were very friendly and helpful . I found the location convenient for exploring the area. Breakfast choices had good variety.

The room was not cleaned one day even after I put the sign outside. Replenishing water in the room cost extra. I had to pay a daily fee for parking even as a hotel guest. The parking fee was £7.50 each day.

The included breakfast buffet was quite extensive. It had a big selection. All the staff I spoke to were very helpful. The location of the hotel was great. It was only a short walk into the town centre.

The room showed signs of wear with tired wallpaper. I also found towels with makeup stains. There was blu-tack left on the walls from previous guests. I think the hotel could improve in these areas.
