the location and parking was very good. service was superb, i felt welcome. bedrooms felt comfy. the bathroom was modern. i loved that i got breakfast and a teapot in my room.

the smell of paint in the room, the corridor outside my room was strong. there was nowhere to sit in my room. it felt very small. it wasn't very good.

The hotel has a traditional and classy style. I loved the modern, clean decor and the interesting pictures in the bar and restaurant. My room felt very cosy with traditional radiators, a welcome change from air conditioning. The bathroom had crisp, fresh design. The Elemis toiletries were a nice touch.

The wardrobe in my room offered very little space, and drawer space was also quite minimal, slightly inconvenient.

the location is unbeatable near the cathedral and castle entrance. restaurants are plentiful nearby. i found my room very comfortable and the bathroom had sparkling new, big fluffy towels.

i found the bar often short staffed. it took a long time to be served , even though i was the first to order food. there seemed to be only one person taking orders, and clearing tables.

the breakfast selection rocks! I found many choices i wanted. the suite i stayed in was awesome, and its bed had me sleeping soundly. i enjoyed the live music at the bar on friday night, it was cool.

The room was a bit tiny for two persons. We barely had room to put our suitcases, i must say.
