the location is quite convenient. free parking was available, and i found that really useful. the breakfast had a good selection (especially the fresh fruit!).

the cleanliness was not great. i noticed hair in the bath plug hole and on the side of the bath. some of the windows in my room wouldn't open, stuffy. i also saw peeling wallpaper (it really needs some attention).

The room overlooked the lido. It was pretty clean and quiet. i saw many people using the facility. this hotel is run by a family. I saw a lot of the family working there. they are working hard to bring it back to its former glory, and i applauds their effort. the staff were very helpful and friendly. i had dinner in the restaurant, and the meal was excellent and very reasonably priced. breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of items. the gardens were beautiful and well kept with quiet seating areas.

i found a split in the side of the bath in our garden room, it wasn't big, but i saw it. also, the radiator thermostat had fallen off.

The restaurant provides a variety of meals, including a full english breakfast. It also includes hot tea. the waiter was attentive, especially when serving my evening meal, so i didn't have any problems. the food was good.

The hotel features a geothermal pool. I liked it. the hotel also includes well kept gardens. I could sit and relax. i also saw a lido located nearby. It looked fresh and clean with lots of people around.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They really were. the manager was helpful when i got the date wrong. i saw some wedding events, and the staff looked professional. they looked after the guests.
