Excellent Stay with Cathedral Views

My room had patio doors that opened onto a terrace. This terrace included an enclosed woodland area. I also found the tea and coffee station was well stocked. The room contained an iron with its ironing board and a hairdryer.

The bedding could have been better as I felt quite warm during the night under the covers.

The menu was extensive with options beyond the buffet. I chose Eggs Benedict and found it was perfectly cooked. The normal breakfast buffet bar was also available each morning with plenty of options.

The location offered a lovely view directly across to the Cathedral. The hotel was situated perfectly for accessing many historical sites. I found it easy to walk to nearby attractions from the front door.

great location good variety ample parking

the location was excellent for exploring the historic area. the breakfast had good variety. the view from my room overlooking the cathedral was quite nice. ample parking behind the hotel was convenient.

the hotel looks dated and worn out. the corridors showed bare plaster with scraped paint. a deep clean of cobwebs and dusty windows would improve the room.

Excellent Stay in Historic Location

I was charmed by the location. It was just a short walk to the cathedral. The hotel provided convenient parking behind the building. I found the breakfast selection superb. Staff members carried drinks to the garden area which I found good.

The room's decor seemed a bit old with some chipped paint on the furniture.

Breakfast included a full selection of English breakfast items alongside several continental options, fruit pastries cereals and yogurts were available as well as juice. The dining area offers a view of the cathedral, which enhances the morning experience and provides a serene start. The breakfast service ran from 7 AM to 10 AM daily.

The room had soft fluffy towels and a good range of toiletries like shampoo conditioner and body wash. An ironing board and iron were conveniently provided inside the wardrobe space saving time for pressing needs. The bed was comfortable with two pillows per person and extra blankets are available.

The check-in process was smooth and the receptionist was very helpful giving necessary information to. Staff were efficient in fulfilling requests plus they offered assistance with luggage storage both before check-in and after checkout. This greatly aided convenience and ease of travel.

the location was great it was easy to walk to many attractions. the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. the staff were friendly and helpful especially with directions to local sites.

the room felt quite dated the furniture looked worn. the bathroom had some mould in the shower area. i also noticed a strange smell in the corridors.

i appreciated the location. it was ideal to visit the cathedral, so close to the hotel. the breakfast offered a great variety of options, i found something to my taste. my room was very clean, that was something i noticed immediately.

The hotel felt a bit dated in areas. i noticed peeling wallpaper in the corridors. the elevator made some strange noises. It worried me a bit. the bathroom was small.

The staff were very helpful. They readily assisted me with directions and information about local attractions. Breakfast included a good variety of options. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked pastries and the availability of gluten-free bread.

The elevator was quite slow at times. I sometimes opted for the stairs.
