The Dining Room provides international breakfast with regional delicacies. Chefs craft menus using sustainable, organic produce from The Datai Langkawi's zero-waste Permaculture Garden. The resort offers fine dining encompassing French haute cuisine, contemporary Indian from Singapore, modern eclectic cuisine from the UK, new wave cuisine from Malaysia, and classic European cuisine from the Netherlands. Dishes include raw Crudo with coral seaweed, roe, and onion dressing, enhanced with herbs and spices from the resort's garden. The Gulai House provides a traditional Malay kampung house style decor. The Hornbill Café overlooks the golf course.
Leisure activities
The resort has an 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course at The Els Club Teluk Datai, designed by Ernie Els, where holes run adjacent to the water edge and players wander through a 10-million-year-old rainforest. Guests can engage in kayaking, windsurfing, or sailing. Regular fitness classes, including yoga and Pilates, are available. The Spa at The Datai Langkawi offers treatments inspired by the natural environment, as well as a rapid Psycho-Sensory treatment that combines tapping meridian acupressure points. Tire training boot camp sessions are also offered. Guests can also sight Colugo and Giant flying squirrel in the surrounding treetops.
