The Standard, East Village has various rooms, from 250-square-foot Standard King rooms to 600-square-foot Studio Suites. Standard King rooms feature king-size beds, large bathrooms with glass-enclosed showers, and work desks. Premium King rooms, located on floors 3-20, include large windows, king-size beds, and work desks. Corner King rooms range from 430-600 square feet and have windows with city views, a king-size bed, a sitting area, and a work desk. Studio Suites, located on floors 18-20, have views of Cooper Square, the Empire State Building, and uptown Manhattan. One-Bedroom Suites combine two deluxe rooms with a work desk, a king-size bedroom, a pull-out couch, and two full bathrooms.
Varied Dining Options
Café Standard combines a street café with a New York bar, serving modern American cuisine, cocktails, and draft beers. The café expands onto the Bowery during warm weather. Narcissa serves New American cuisine and has the atmosphere of an Upstate New York restaurant. The Garden hosts lobster bakes in summer and a winter wonderland during winter. Guests start with the fava bean dip with crusty bread, followed by fluke crudo and Japanese sweet potato. Lunch is available at Narcissa. Private events, from dinners to fashion presentations, can be hosted at The Penthouse.
Leisure and Socializing
The Standard, East Village has public spaces, including the café, restaurant patio, and The Garden, a courtyard. The Garden has greenery and furniture. The Penthouse features views of New York City.
