the hotel provided excellent value. the staff seemed very pleasant. its location offered great convenience. breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Solid Stay with Good Amenities

The new bar area had an excellent selection of drinks. The location is great with lovely sea views. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. I had a refurbished room, and it was fabulous (a real highlight!).
My room could have been cleaner upon arrival, it seemed like housekeeping missed a few spots.

The hotel currently undergoes extensive refurbishment to a very good standard. The main reception area was being re-painted . The hotel managed it well. I noted friendly staff and a cute attitude throughout the hotel.

The hotel has a prime area. It's a ten-minute walk into the town centre, but it is uphill on the way back. The hotel provides parking at the back (check with the hotel before arrival).

The breakfast included a good variety of choices. Staff were always cleaning and restocking so all was fresh. The room included extra pillows. The sea view was beautiful.

advantageous location many options responsive staff improved experience
the hotel's location proved advantageous. the breakfast selection had many options, including pastries and fresh fruit. i found the staff to be quite responsive to requests. the refurbishment in parts of the hotel does improve the experience..
I noticed that the parking fee seemed a bit inconsistent . It varied slightly each day.

easy access breakfast buffet many choices
The location offered easy access to the beach. A tour bus conveniently stopped right outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet included many choices. I found trays helped when carrying plates.
The corridors had frayed carpets and was dated.
