I was upgraded to a large room, providing additional space and comfort. The bed provided a restful sleep. The shower offered good water pressure. Breakfasts were delicious, with a diverse selection. I found the entire staff super. I must give particular praise to Ana-Marie.

The restaurant featured gluten-free options for both breakfast and dinner. This was appreciated. Breakfast included a buffet with various choices. individually prepared warm dishes, all served luxuriously, it was excellent.

The hotel's location suited me well. It is close to the city centre, nice for easy walking access. The quickest way to the top of the hill is up or down 40+ steps, something to consider. I did find the surroundings quiet.

The hotel's patio and bar provided additional space for relaxation and socializing. Cases were dropped off early at 08:45, awesome for convenient exploration. I appreciated this amenity. Parking on a large parking lot is free.

the location was convenient with on-site free parking. the breakfast included a large variety of options and the dining room had a lovely atmosphere. (i especially enjoyed the pastries!).
the walking route from the station involved steep steps. i was unaware of this and had to find a longer alternative route because i was carrying luggage.
