i found the room size good, its space welcomed after a long journey. i enjoyed the shortbread and tea provided in the room, it was a sweet touch. the breakfast offered a full scottish experience, filled us for the day. the staff were really kind and helpful with everything i asked.
the bathroom seemed a bit dated, with the shower working less effective than newer models but it sufficed for a quick rinse.

lovely dog-friendly stay

The hotel provided a very warm welcome for my dog, casper. he received a welcome bag with a toy, treats, and poo bags on arrival. the staff even asked if casper wanted a sausage for breakfast. It was cooled and cut for him (i thought that was a very thoughtful detail!). i found the room comfortable and easy to access.
i did notice a bit of a smell in the bedroom, a little off-putting.

A Family Experience

The staff treated me like family . I plan a return trip to this hotel. I really appreciated the really good service and warm welcome. The restaurant had amazing fish and chips. It was the best I ever tasted.
My room seems a bit faded, and it needs some freshening up, I seen a few silly things like holes in the wall.
