the hotel's location worked well for me, as it was a short walk to both the sea front and greenhill gardens. the on-site parking was very convenient. i found the breakfasts and sunday carvery offered a good selection of well-prepared food (especially the sunday carvery).

the pool and spa area seemed more geared towards the public than hotel guests. i found the pool overcrowded with children, and they were not restricted to the kids' pool. the sauna and steam room were quite small, and the showers near the sauna lacked soap or shampoo.

the reception staff were quite friendly and helpful. the room had a comfortable bed and clean , fresh linens. the breakfast had a very good choice of food , including both hot and cold options.

the bathroom wasn't thoroughly cleaned , and i found some hair in the shower.

the free car parking was certainly appreciated. (it saved me some money).

the room i was assigned seemed quite tired. the bathroom lacked a toilet brush, a small detail i found quite inconvenient. the noisy desk fan provided was also small and ineffective in the large room.
