I found a warm welcome from the staff. I was shown to my room. The room was fresh, clean, and tidy with all the usual things. Food proved excellent. Location allowed easy access to local amenities. Travel to Wells and Glastonbury were both well worth the visit.

The building is GORGEOUS. It really fits the area. I was greeted by a polite team member. He checked me in. He took me to my room. He explained everything fully to me. My room was bright. It was airy. It was tastefully decorated. Bottles of water awaited. Little jars of treats were a cute idea. Breakfast had a great menu. The lady serving was pleasant. She was professional. When checking out, I got a bottle of water for my journey home.
The windows did not shut correctly. They need work. The partition walls were thin. Noise traveled through them. I appreciate this is an older hotel. Some quick fixes would really help the experience. The bed was not very comfortable. The bathroom was shabby. It had a wet rotting bath panel.
