a reasonable experience

convenient location charming aesthetic small room faulty coffee machine
i found the location to be quite convenient. it allowed easy access to various attractions. the building itself presented a charming aesthetic (the decor was quite interesting).
the room i stayed in was rather small. it restricted movement to some extent. the coffee machine in the room was not functional initially (but staff resolved it quickly).

uneven service unsafe radiator
I encountered some issues. the breakfast service felt uneven. Some tables received toast while others did not. also, the bathroom radiator was excessively hot. i found the temperature control quite difficult to manage, and it seemed like a potential safety hazard.

quirky charm and good surprises!

record player free snacks
i stayed in the coach house guest room. the record player with borrowed vinyl created a lovely, nostalgic vibe. the cheeky free snacks on the landing were a great touch (perfect for late-night cravings!). i loved the fun, bespoke decor throughout the main house.
the room was not cleaned or bins emptied the second day. i had to ask for our room service trays to be taken away (a bit of a letdown).
Facilities
9/10
the hotel features a spa offering various treatments, and i recommend a visit there. there is a well-stocked pantry providing complimentary snacks and drinks, and a bar offering handcrafted cocktails in a beautiful setting, a fantastic option.
Location
10/10

Dining

the hotel serves food that is delicious and offers an interesting selection of drinks. a range of room service options are available, and the pantry provides complimentary refreshments. the breakfast offered a fantastic start to my days there.
