The front-room bar is a meeting place for locals and guests. A bookshop-in-miniature caters to all ages. Guests can find hand screen-printed wallpaper by Tracy Kendall that shows what might be found in a Georgian home. A contemporary wine merchant and bistro with traditional values sources wines from independent producers. The hotel is near Margaret Buildings, between the Royal Crescent and Circus. “Individually-designed rooms and curated pantries of treats suggest a highly personal experience; the on-site bar and proximity to Bath's attractions certainly add to the appeal. I particularly like how the decor embraces art and local culture, it's more than just a place to stay. This feels like a boutique stay with real character.”
