The staff members were very friendly and helpful. the art deco style of the room was beautiful, specifically room 18. i appreciated the convenient access to the attached bar and restaurant. The location was a short walk from the rough trade records gig.

the bathroom was heavily modified for disabled guests, made some features difficult for me to use.

i had breakfast and dinner, the full english was one of the best i have had in a long time. the homemade pie was delicious the night before, and i especially loved that the staff took dietary needs seriously.

The hotel had many little extras. I appreciated the port and chocolates placed by the coffee machine with a personalised note. the honesty mini bar provided lots of choices. Everything was made very accessible and convenient.

The room was super clean and spacious. the bed was very comfortable. There was lots of attention to detail. there was a lovely array of good smelling toiletries in the bathroom. I really appreciated the attention to detail.
