“Loch Ness Country House Hotel feels steeped in Highland history, set within six acres of gardens and close to both Loch Ness and Inverness city center. I admire that the hotel sources fresh produce from its own gardens for its AA Rosette award-winning restaurant, and I like the idea of enjoying a glass of whisky by the fire in one of the intimate lounges. The Loch Ness Country House Hotel appears to be a popular choice for those visiting Inverness and Loch Ness. Many guests appreciate the spacious rooms, some featuring spa baths, while others enjoyed the garden cottage with its view of Inverness. The on-site restaurant is also a highlight, with accommodations for various dietary needs including vegan and dairy-free options, although some found it a bit overpriced. With features such as a bar and a lounge with a fireplace, the hotel seems to offer excellent value for money.

a satisfying stay

fresh baguette cheese selection prompt service delicious scone
i enjoyed the afternoon cheese. five cheeses came with biscuits and a warm baguette. a glass of wine accompanied them. the coffee and cheesecake completed the meal (the scone was also delicious). the service was prompt.
the room felt slightly dated. i noticed some minor wear and tear in the bathroom fixtures. it didn't really detract from my overall experience, but it's there.

a reasonably decent place

excellent breakfast comfortable room friendly staff high price dated decor strange noise
the breakfast was excellent and exceeded my expectations. the room was comfortable and i slept well. jade and graeme were wonderful, friendly and cute.
I felt i overpaid. It was too expensive! the decor and some furniture were very dated. i heard some very strange and loud noises in the bedroom. Perhaps it was pipes or airlocks.
