surprisingly GREAT stay
easy check-in friendly staff ideal location
check-in was SO easy and the staff friendly. i had a standard room and it suited my needs perfectly. the location was ideal, near shops and restaurants.
i DID find the parking charge a bit steep at the hotel.

the standard room included spare pillows. the room had a large mirror and sufficient lighting. everything was clean and well kept.

the breakfast buffet included both fried and continental options , everything you would expect from a hotel breakfast. the coffee machine worked well and provided a selection of drinks. there were always staff available to replenish the food.

the reception staff were very helpful and friendly , ALWAYS ready to assist with directions and information. they provided a chocolate bar on arrival , SUCH a cute gesture. the staff ensured a smooth stay.

the hotel is situated in a PERFECT spot , just across from the shopping mall and close to the high street. the concert arena is also directly opposite the hotel. the area felt quiet and safe.

central location blackout curtains comfortable bed helpful staff
The location was excellent. It was close to everything i wanted to see. i liked the blackout curtains in the room, allowing me to sleep well. the bed was comfortable and the staff was helpful. the on-site parking was a great convenience. It.
the fittings in the room were looking tired.

amazing chef gf cereal shower screen bathroom facilities
the chef, paul, was really amazing. i have coeliac disease and he prepared my food specially away from the buffet. he even found me some gf cereal, I appreciated that.
the room was a decent size, but the bathroom facilities was not good. there was no seal on the shower screen, so the floor was flooded after a shower. the toilet took ten minutes to refill after flushing

onsite carpark christmas decoration
The onsite carpark made arrival stress-free (I really HATE searching for parking!). The Christmas decorations in the entrance created a REALLY festive atmosphere.
The breakfast area got a little crowded.

Mixed Feelings About This Hotel
noisy room broken seal
The staff were friendly. and helpful.
The room was very noisy. It was because of the traffic outside and even pedestrians talking! Sound proofing seals on the windows were completely useless and broken down with age. Cold drafts came through constantly. We asked for a double room but only one bath towel was in the bathroom and no hand towels at all. Last of all fittings in the bathroom were worn. and the soap holder was loose and even fell off the wall.

the staff was helpful I appreciated that. my room was clean it had all the facilities i needed. the location was central to everything I wanted to see
i noticed a slow service at the bar. i had to wait about 20 minutes each time for a drink. the price seemed high for the quality of the stay
