the staff at reception were helpful and got me a good room.
The room was too small, and there weren't facilities for a drink in the evening. I was told to go to the pub on the corner, but it was closed for a private function. it felt inconvenient and not what i expected from this kind of place. i hoped to relax at the hotel after a long day, but that didn't happen.

i loved the location! it was easy to reach both tube stations. the staff was friendly and very efficient. breakfast had an awesome selection, the choices seemed endless!
the room felt a bit tired! the fixtures in the bathroom could use some updating.

mixed feelings about this stay

broken drainbedding stains
The bathroom drain was broken, and despite reporting it, it was not fixed the next day. i found stains on the bedding upon arrival, a clear oversight in cleanliness. the breakfast room also felt too small. It lacked capacity for the number of guests. stairwell odour was unpleasant.

The location is convenient. I walked just a short distance to the Moorgate station. The room was clean and spacious. It featured an espresso machine and complimentary water, restocked daily. Staff were also efficient and friendly.
The air conditioning in my room was not very efficient.
