the rooms were very clean and of a nice size. the bed was very comfortable (i slept like a log!). i also appreciated the location, it was very convenient.
i found that water was not provided in the room. there also wasn't a fridge in the room. i noticed quite a few stains on the carpets in the hallway.

The location was convenient with good parking.
The room was not ready when I arrived at 2:30 pm check-in was scheduled for 3:00 pm. I had to wait until 3:40 pm and was offered an upgraded room after I enquired. However the key did not work when I got there.

The room was clean. The shower was easy to use. Breakfast was really delicious, I loved it! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
The check-in process was unusual, I had to check in at the pub next door. I felt this arrangement was not ideal, especially since I had some questions.

The room was very comfortable, and it presented well. The cleanliness impressed me greatly. Finding parking was easy, and it was free. The hotel's location proved convenient for reaching the ferry to Portsmouth.
The hallway carpet showed noticeable stains.

A Charming Stay Near the Coast

I found the room clean upon arrival. The location was perfect. I could easily access nearby attractions (I had planned a romantic getaway). I really appreciated the friendly staff. They were always ready to help.
The air conditioning unit in the room seemed to struggle to keep up with the summer heat. It kept reverting to heat mode. I had to adjust it frequently (which was a minor annoyance).
