The room featured its own courtyard, a nice surprise. Fresh milk arrived in a flask, a thoughtful touch for morning coffees. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable indeed.
I found breakfast service slow, possibly due to staff levels, but this did not spoil the stay.

The inn offers plentiful circular walks directly from the premises.. very convenient for exploring the area on foot. The tranquil surroundings provide a relaxing atmosphere away from city noise.

The pub inside is attractive, with a great selection of beers on tap and a good wine list. Outdoor spaces are super, well-kept and inviting to relax and socialize. Gluten-free requirements are well catered for.

great food attentive staff lovely experience first class service
the dinner was amazing!!! it had great food at average prices. the staff was attentive, and the recent upgrades. i found good parking that was well worth the visit. the service was first class and didn't disappoint at all.
the room had no fan and only skylight windows, so it was roasting.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel. The staff was cute and accommodating. The breakfast offered a delicious start to each day. The attention to detail, like the provided cookies and water in the room, was appreciated.
The towel rail in my room seemed to be continuously emitting heat, slightly uncomfortable.

The breakfast was DELICIOUS!!! It offered a variety of choices, including porridge and smashed avocado. The staff was very attentive and fulfilled every request without any hesitation. Dinner was also available with many dishes to choose from.

Our room featured nice white fluffy towels. A HUGE roll-top bath was present in our assigned room. Attention to detail, like the provided cookies and water in the room, was a really NICE touch. The rooms are wonderfully modern and comfortable.

The location is GREAT for walks. It also provides easy access to the South Downs National Park. The hotel has great atmosphere in the bar and dinner. The hotel is a dog friendly place. MANY dogs could be seen around the hotel.

the rooms breakfast was great, with friendly staff.
i had an experience i disliked. the rooms condition disappointed me. there wasnt a fan to be found. it resulted in two awful nights of sleep.
