“The hotel strikes a vibrant note with its décor and award-winning British tapas; ideal for exploring the nearby sailing scene and coastal walks, though service can be a touch uneven. I think the garden and conservatory create a lovely space for relaxed dining, especially with the dog-friendly accommodations available. Overall, a charming base with potential.”

Mixed Feelings About the Room and Amenities

bar closure poor drainage
The bar was closed due to staff shortages. This was inconvenient. My room was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. The window barely opened. The shower did not drain quickly enough, limiting shower time.

I really wanted to sleep well, but the bed was too firm for MY liking. plus, i could hear EVERYTHING happening in the hallway. The walls seemed paper-thin. the noise at night disrupted my sleep significantly. it's a pity as otherwise the stay was okay.

stylish design high street good breakfast
The hotel design had considerable detail. The location is on the high street. The breakfast had a good choice. The decor was beautifully designed.
There was no air-conditioning system in the room, and it was too bad during a heatwave.
