Fantastic Getaway!

My family enjoyed a very relaxing holiday. The rooms provided lovely ocean views. The sunset was amazing. I found the staff quite attentive to our needs (especially Susmita!). We plan to return next year. The yoga class with Muktha was excellent. The location offers a lovely sea breeze. I felt quite calm and stretched after the session. The yoga instructor held poses for a good duration. The private beach felt very nice. I stayed in a sea-facing club room, very peaceful. The food was excellent, and the hospitality was great. Guest relations excelled! The service and location were exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble. Ravi Kumar and his team personalized the buffet, even preparing items to order. Breakfast was super ACE.
The hotel is clearly a luxury resort, BUT we were disappointed by the crow problem. There is no real alfresco dining. Even on your terrace, you are at risk from crows.

the club provides access to a private pool and a well-equipped gym. yoga every morning in the spa yoga pavilion while listening to waves is fantastic. the spa treatments use ayurvedic oils and a steam box.
the prayer from the nearby mosque at 4:45 am was very loud and it woke me up, then the staff noises continued. i found this disruptive to my sleep.

The yoga class with Muktha was excellent. I felt calm after a good stretch with nice sea breeze. The location provided a lovely setting for the session. The sea facing club room was very peaceful. The food was excellent and I appreciated the great hospitality. The private beach is also nice (i spent most of my time there).
I noticed some mosquitoes in the area. My husband and I were bitten inside and outside the room.

Fantastic Stay with Minor Crow Troubles

The location was fine. The staff was attentive to our needs. The rooms were spacious, and i found the ocean views lovely. I especially appreciated the sunset from my room (it was amazing!). I found Susmita a particularly helpful member of staff. She helped me with several requests, and i really appreciated her assistance. The food at the restaurants was generally very good. The private beach provided a secluded spot. I liked the clean rooms, and the sea view was amazing. Sajin was also helpful (very friendly!). I liked the multiple swimming pools for family enjoyment. The traditional Kerala dance show in the evening was beautiful. I am looking forward to a return trip next year.
I must mention the crow problem. It does affect the alfresco dining experience. Plastic screens are up at Tides, and indoor dining is recommended. Netting surrounds some tables by the pool.

I was charmed by the well-behaved staff. the variety of food options, combined with that killing sea view, was a treat. i must thank jadumoni, ramesh, and sibaprasad. They arranged a surprise for my daughter's birthday. i am so grateful for their assistance (it was wonderful!).
the safety standards need some improvement. during my stay, a glass table, not very stable, fell and shattered. the glass pieces spread everywhere, even cutting my daughter. this incident made me question the hotel's commitment to guest safety. i hope the hotel addresses this issue soon.
