Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location in central Christchurch, making it ideal for exploring the area and enjoying attractions like the nearby 'Faulty Towers Experience. ' The spacious rooms and bathrooms often receive positive mentions, with some even featuring a fridge stocked with chilled water and milk. Decent Stay

central locationfriendly staffhelpful stafftraffic noisesingle glazingheavy duvet
The location was definitely convenient. It was only a minute's walk to the high street. The high street had a good range of restaurants and shops. I also found the staff friendly and helpful.
My room faced the front of the hotel. The windows were not double glazed. There was a lot of traffic noise into the small hours. I also found the winter weight duvet too heavy.

The staff were friendly and well trained. I especially loved receiving a complimentary drink upon arrival. the bed mattress and pillows were super comfortable. the bath was a nice treat, and the shower was powerful!
the lift only takes two people with luggage, though it wasn't a huge issue.

road noise issues and breakfast

helpful staffroad noiselimited continental breakfast
the staff was friendly and helpful . the location is quite central.
The noise from the road was a MAJOR problem! my room faced the front, and the lack of double glazing meant constant traffic sounds. also, the continental breakfast was limited. I had to pay extra for a cooked breakfast. it's not a great value.

the staff was genuinely friendly and always ready to help. i found the location ideal (close to everything i wanted to see). the room had ample natural light and plenty of storage space.
the cooked breakfast came with an additional charge.

the breakfast included a good selection of continental items. there was a newspaper of my choice available each morning with breakfast. i particularly enjoyed the option for a champagne spritz at the cocktail bar.
Service

the reception staff offered us coffee and croissants when we arrived early. little drink tokens were given on the house for the bar. the staff maintained spotlessly clean and well-equipped rooms throughout the hotel.
