“I found that the building's Victorian bones offer a charm absent in more modern hotels, and the sea views are indeed stunning. Home-cooked meals using local ingredients are a real highlight, and the staff seems genuinely invested in making guests feel welcome. It strikes me as a solid choice for those wanting a bit of seaside character.”

great viewcomfy bedefficient staff
the room was a great size for a triple and we had great views out the window. beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean. the room also had tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water, and biscuits. the breakfast was great each morning and the staff were friendly and efficient.
my single room was just above the back of the kitchen, so people at the kitchen would talk very loudly outside every morning.

the hotel has friendly, helpful staff and breakfast was fantastic with many options. we stayed in a premier double room. it included standard tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits. the room was cleaned well daily.
Noise was an issue because our room had a connecting door with another room. I could hear their conversations. a little sign would not go amiss.

Acceptable Location, Problems with Room Condition

convenient locationmaintenance needconflicting styles
The hotel's location is convenient because it is close to bus services shops and the hovercraft.
The room was disappointing due to its need for maintenance. It felt tatty in places and had conflicting styles. I couldn't tell if it was old or new. As a family room, there was no lock on the door and smaller kids could easily let themselves out in the middle of night. The kettle was also too close to the TV. This was frustrating

The breakfast proved quite modest. I found the coffee substandard. upon my arrival at 20:30, the restaurant was already closed. such a situation inconvenienced me considerably.
